Released on the 40th anniversary of the start of China's reform and opening-up policy in 1978, the book is the first to present a comprehensive analysis of President Xi's thoughts on the nation’s experience of reform and opening-up.
Observers believe President Xi has become "the chief architect of China in the new era."
Qu Qingshan, who specializes in the history of the Communist Party of China, says that the book provides important theoretical guidance for China's future development.
