During the just-ended Dragon Boat Festival, the cultural tourism market in Guangdong province of China witnessed a boom, with cultural tourism activities reaching a new height. According to the preliminary estimates of the Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, during the three-day holiday (from June 22 to 24), Guangdong received a total of 20.229 million tourists, a year-on-year increase of 74.7%, and an increase of 0.6% over 2019. 2023年端午节假期,广东全省文旅市场持续升温,文旅活动精彩纷呈。据广东省文化和旅游厅初步测算,2023年端午节假期3天(6月22日至24日),全省累计接待游客2022.9万人次,同比增长74.7%,较2019年增长0.6%(以下均按可比口径,下同);实现旅游总收入92.1亿元,同比增长71.2%,较2019年增长8.6%。
