The Blue-throated Bee-eater is a state-level second-class protected animal, characterized by its classy chestnut slicked-back hairstyle and a stunning iridescent blue tailcoat, with extremely high value for both observation and scientific research. It's worth noting that Wanlv Lake has currently identified over 1,000 species of flora and fauna, including rare and endangered creatures like the peach blossom jellyfish, Asian giant softshell turtle, and sambar deer.

近日,一位摄影爱好者在河源万绿湖风景区的东源县杨梅村,拍摄到有“中国最美小鸟”之称的蓝喉蜂虎。蓝喉蜂虎是国家二级保护动物,栗色“后背头”,着一袭孔雀蓝绿的“燕尾服”,极具观赏与科研价值。据了解,万绿湖目前已发现有1000多种动植物,其中还有桃花水母、鼋、水鹿等珍稀濒危动物。

#TheGrestBeautyofGuangdongRecentemente, um fotógrafo capturou a imagem do abelharuco de garganta azul, apelido de um dos “pássaros mais belos da China” na aldei de Yangmei, no condado de Dongyuan, localizado no centro cénico do Lago Wanlv. O abelharuco de garganta azul é um animal protegido de segunda classe a nível nacional, caracterizado pelo seu elegante penteado castanho e um deslumbrante manto azul iridescente, com um valor extremamente elevado tanto para a observação como para a investigação científica. Vale a pena referir que o Lago Wanlv tem atualmente identificadas mais de 1000 espécies de flora e fauna, incluindo criaturas raras e ameaçadas de extinção como a medusa em flor de pêssego, a tartaruga gigante asiática de carapaça mole e o veado sambar.
